The Cube Kathmandu Hybrid ONE11 HPC Pro 800 is a full-suspension electric bike built for riders who want one machine to handle both city commuting and light off-road riding. The Easy Entry frame — with its low step-through opening — makes mounting and dismounting straightforward, whatever you're wearing or carrying. The front section is moulded in HPC carbon (High Performance Carbon) using Cube's C:62® Monocoque Advanced Twin Mold technology, while the rear triangle uses 6061 T6 aluminium — a combination that balances stiffness, vibration damping and durability.

Power comes from the Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 5 motor, which produces 120 Nm of torque. In practice, that means responsive, natural-feeling assistance as soon as you pedal, without any sudden surges. The Bosch PowerTube 800 Wh battery sits neatly inside the down tube, keeping the frame's clean lines intact and protecting the cell from knocks. Assistance modes are managed via the Bosch Purion 200 display on the handlebars.

The dual-suspension setup — SR Suntour XCR34X-Air fork (100 mm travel) at the front and SR Suntour EdgeX 2CR rear shock — takes the edge off rough surfaces, whether that's cobblestones in town or gravel paths on the weekend. Shimano BR-MT420 hydraulic disc brakes with 203 mm rotors at both ends give you consistent, confident braking in any weather. The Shimano Cues 1×11 drivetrain with an 11-50T cassette offers a wide gear range to match both flat stretches and steeper climbs.

Shimano Cues CS-LG400, 11-50T

The cassette built to survive an electric bike. The Shimano CUES CS-LG400 in 11-50T is an 11-speed cassette built around LINKGLIDE, the technology Shimano developed specifically to answer the problem e-bikes create: a motor that delivers torque constantly wears a drivetrain out far faster than a human leg does. In practice, LINKGLIDE claims up to three times the tooth life of a conventional Hyperglide cassette under high chain tension. The teeth are thicker and the shift ramps redrawn to absorb shifting under load — the kind you make without thinking mid-acceleration, motor at full assist, and which destroys an ordinary drivetrain. Shifting is also smoother in both directions, with noticeably less shock through the pedals. With an 11-13-15-17-20-23-26-30-36-43-50 progression, it covers the ground without gaps: closely spaced ratios at the bottom of the cassette to hold a steady cadence on the flat, and a 50-tooth sprocket so you are never stuck on a climb, loaded or not. It requires a LINKGLIDE drivetrain (matching CUES derailleur and shifter) and takes either a LINKGLIDE or an HG 11-speed chain.

Shimano BR-MT420, Hydr. Disc Brake (203/203)

Braking power where it actually matters: on a heavy, loaded bike, heading downhill. The Shimano BR-MT420 is a four-piston hydraulic disc brake caliper, fitted here with 203 mm rotors front and rear — the largest size in Shimano's mountain bike range. Four pistons instead of two means a larger pad surface and better-distributed pressure: around 20% more power than the two-piston version, and above all power that doesn't fade after three corners. On an electric mountain bike weighing 25 kg before the rider even gets on, that is not a luxury. The aluminium alloy body sheds heat, and the mineral oil circuit keeps a consistent bite point in the rain, in mud, or after a long descent. The D03S resin pads supplied as standard deliver progressive, quiet braking; they can be swapped for metallic D02S pads for greater heat resistance and better wet-weather performance — both share the same shape. The post-mount fitting is standard, so servicing can be done by any bike shop and spare parts are available everywhere.
