The Cube KATHMANDU HYBRID EXC 800 is a premium hybrid electric bike built for urban commutes and varied-terrain rides, with motor and drivetrain components drawn from the premium electric mountain bike world.

The Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 5 motor (100 Nm) delivers immediate, controlled power. The frame-integrated Bosch PowerTube 800 Wh battery provides outstanding range for long commutes and multi-day trips.

The Shimano XT 12-speed drivetrain (RD-M8100-SGS ShadowPlus derailleur, Shimano Deore SL-M6100-R Rapidfire Plus shifter, Shimano Deore 10-51T cassette) covers an exceptionally wide gear range. The Fox 34 Float Sport AWL fork (100 mm travel, e-bike optimized) effectively smooths out rough terrain. Shimano BR-MT420 hydraulic disc brakes with ABS (203 mm rotors front and rear) provide powerful, safe stopping power, even on wet surfaces.

Shimano XT RD-M8100-SGS, ShadowPlus, 12-Speed

Robust, precise and remarkably quiet, it stands out as the natural choice for riders who make no compromise on the quality of their transmission. ShadowPlus technology reduces chain oscillation on bumpy terrain thanks to an adjustable friction system on the tread — less noise, less chain skipping, more concentration on riding. The SGS (Super Extra Long) version offers the maximum yoke capacity to absorb the entire development range of the widest 12-speed cassettes, up to 51 teeth.

Designed for Shimano Deore 12-speed transmissions, it combines lightness, shifting precision and proven durability.
