Description
The Merida NINETY-SIX XT sits squarely in the XC/Marathon and down-country category — a full-suspension bike built for riders who want genuine trail capability without carrying extra weight up every climb. The Ninety-Six CF4 III carbon frame uses P-FLEX technology: instead of a conventional pivot, the rear stays flex in a controlled way to deliver 100 mm of travel while keeping the pedalling platform firm and efficient. Less energy lost, more speed gained.
Suspension duties are handled by a matched Fox setup. The Fox 34 Float SL Performance fork provides 120 mm of travel, and the Fox Float SL Performance Elite shock matches the same premium spec.
The Shimano XT Di2 M8250 wireless groupset brings electronic, 12-speed shifting to the trails. A light tap on the lever fires an immediate, accurate gear change — particularly useful when your hands are cold, gloved, or your grip is occupied holding a tricky line. The Shimano XT M8200 brakes deliver controlled, progressive stopping power in all conditions.
